Ground Loop Isolator

The feedback, often times referred to as a buzzing sound, that is sometimes received from an audio or video device is called a ground loop. To solve this noise issue that can occur within the compartments of an audio or video mechanism it is best to use a ground loop isolator.

The isolation transformer can be connected to the system experiencing the ground loop. Once the isolator is connected it will work to break the ground path through cables that run between elements of the piece of equipment. The elimination of this noise matter can be extremely difficult to do away with so it may take a great deal of time and patience.

Ground Loops

When an audio device receives a buzzing feedback it is often referred to as a ground loop. The humming noise that sometimes comes from speakers is a form of ground loop. This buzzing noise is caused by voltage prospective differences that are found at the ground point of the mechanism, i.e. a speaker or headphones.

A ground loop may transpire when more that one audio element is powered from different power outlets. When this takes places the hum or the buzz is what results and is heard through the audio device. When this takes place a ground loop isolator may be needed to repair the issue.

Audio/ Video Modulator

An audio/ video modulator is able to accept input from any resource that modulates signals to a channel of the user’s choice. The mechanism takes the input signal and sends out a modulated signal.

With a modulator of this capacity consumers can watch a surveillance camera, DVD player, or satellite signal on any television that is hooked up to this device.

Easily installed, an audio/video modulator can be connected through any unused CATV/MATV channel and then the modulator can be connected to the home system.
