Wonky Screen Resolution? Check Your Cables
Got a bad resolution when playing your PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii? If your greens, blues, and reds tend to be too dark you likely haven’t switched your AV to RGB. AV meaning composite and RGB meaning component.
Because component video connectors are used for several different video connection transfers, often the signal being transferred doesn’t relay the best resolution or speed. Televisions, DVD players, and gaming systems can be adjusted for the type of input/output connection ence, making a component video connection often does not lead to a satisfactory video signal being transferred. The settings on many DVD players and TVs may need to be set to indicate the type of input/output being used, so double check your settings first when diagnosing any resolutions that seem “off”.
Analog cables may be phasing out due to digital video and HDMI, but CablesPlus still stocks a variety of component cables, and RGA component cables to suit your individual needs.
