Power cords or cables are used to temporary power an electrical appliance. These cords are plugged in to a power source that is most often wired through a wall. Power cables are sometimes attached to an appliance or they can be an individual power cord that can be used for a range of electrical needs.

Power cables come in many different varieties such as a wall to power supply cord, a power extension cord, a power adapter, and many others. Most cords can be bought in different lengths such as 3 feet, 6 feet, 10 feet, and even 12 feet.
